Curriculum Vitae

In collaboration with Sven Steiner and Hajime Muramatsu a shifting folly for star spotting has been designed and constructed in Japan. The folly has a concrete platform to place a telescope on. A staircase, which is fixed to a wall, leads up to a seat to watch shooting stars. This block can be rotated into the direction of meteorite showers, which are marked on the base. The shifting block, and the wall it is fixed to (unclad in the image), work as shields against wind and light when the telescope is used.
